Azim Premji – Chairman of WIPRO Limited
In 1945, Mohammed Hashim Premji, father of Azim Premji established Western Indian Vegetables Products Ltd in Amalner, Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Western Indian Vegetables Products Ltd used to manufacture vegetable oils first so-called Vanaspati and also manufacture laundry soap named Chandrika, and Santoor.
After the death of his father, Azim Premji took over the company, by leaving his studies at Stanford University, USA.
